Milestones of Excellence
Since its founding, Tical has remained at the forefront of the logistics industry, integrating
subsidiaries, processes, human capital, and technology as a 3PL integrated logistics
services operator. We offer a unique platform across 8 countries, delivering comprehensive
and innovative solutions to our clients.
1973 Our Beginnings
Tical was founded in 1973 with 100% Costa Rican capital,
dedicated to land cargo transportation, aiming to solve
intra-Central American trade challenges.
1980 Service Portfolio Expansion
Expanded services to include local transportation,
distribution, and warehousing amidst regional conflicts
and market needs.
1990 Service and Territorial Expansion
Added customs agency services, airline handling, and
export cargo terminal. Opened o ces across Central America
and Panama.
2015 CEDI Nicaragua Investment
Invested in a distribution center in Nicaragua for mass
consumption management.
2016 Expansion into Mexico
Entered the Mexican market, specializing in FTL and LTL
services to Central America.
2019 Embracing Sustainability
Adopted sustainability as a core pillar, promoting
responsible management and social responsibility initiatives.
